Icy roads lead to a fatality on Kentucky Hwy 86 near Garfield. A teenager who had stopped with her father to help another motorist was killed by a hit and run driver on the icy roadway.
Fast flowing waters swept a car off Dents Bridge Road into Sinking Creek near Irvington. Two adults escaped from the car, but were unable to rescue a child strapped in a car seat before the car was swept away.
