Extreme heat continued into late July.

Approximately 10 trees were uprooted near the Trigg/Lyon County line. A home on High Point Dr had trees go into the roof and side of the building. This damage occurred from a supercell storm which had produced a tornado to the west-northwest on KY-274.

A large tree was blown down, going all the way through a house as a line of thunderstorms moved through Cadiz.

The strong winds blew a tree down on Felix Wadlington Road two miles east northeast of Donaldson in the late evening.

Flash flooding from the 15th and early on the 16th transitioned to areal flooding near Cerulean in northeast Trigg County. Swollen rivers, creeks, and streams continued to flood several roads, including Wallonia Road, Barefield Road, and Cobb Road.

Flood waters made portions of New Hope Road and Hardy Road impassable.

Brushy Grove Creek flooded Highway 126 making it impassable. Portions of Wallonia Road (Highway 128) and Barefield Road (Highway 1507) were also closed due to flood waters. The flooding was generally centered around the community of Cerulean.

Minor street flooding was reported east of Cadiz. Radar estimated rainfall in this area was around 2 inches at the time, with an additional inch of rain spread out through the evening hours.

A carport was blown down by thunderstorm winds as a storm moved northwestward through Cerulean Springs.

Spotter observed the wind gust near I-24 as thunderstorms surged eastward through Trigg County.

Emergency management reported trees down and pea size hail in Cerulean, KY. Media relayed a report of a hay barn destroyed in Cerulean.
