Heavy rain fell across the region and resulted in flooding in ditches. An 11 year old boy drowned in a ditch.

Widespread dense fog developed during the morning hours of April 2nd. This dense fog was responsible for an accident, in Bonita, which resulted in one indirect fatality. A Texas man was on his motorcycle and was hit head on by another vehicle.

Heavy rainfall caused flash flooding across the west side of Bastrop. A car was trapped on Garden road. Henry Street had flooding and along South Washington, the road was flooded at the train overpass.
