Temperatures were below freezing for approximately 60 hours from the evening of January 20th through the afternoon of January 23rd. The coldest period was the morning of January 22nd when air temperatures and wind chills into the 10 to 20 degree range across the parish.

Occasional to frequent tropical storm force wind gusts were noted in the parish, which knocked out power to about 25 percent of the parish during the peak of the storm. Storm total rainfall was estimated to be 2 to 4 inches across the parish.
