Lafayette County was highlighted within D2 (Severe) Drought from Nov 1 through Nov 25, 2025.

Precipitation deficits over the past few months created drought (D2) conditions in much of Lafayette County by the Oct 14, 2025 issuance of the US Drought Monitor. This would continue through the end of October 2025.
