Southern Rosebud storm history

Two women died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 212, about 8 miles west of Ashland. Although road conditions were icy and snowpacked at the time of the accidents, Montana State Patrol reported speed was also a factor.

Got 7 snow.

Snow and blowing snow produced reduced visibilities across the area. Multiple slide-offs were reported. Chains were required on the passes. In addition, Highway 212 was closed from Crow Agency to the Montana state line.
