Golf ball size hail, along with winds estimated at 60 mph, were reported.

An isolated thunderstorm during the early evening of the 5th produced a microburst. Some minor damage, including an uprooted tree, was reported.

Freezing rain followed by 4 to 8 inches of snow resulted icy road conditions with numerous accidents.

Flooding due to an ice jam was reported on the Yellowstone River east of Amelia Island just north of Hysham. Low-land flooding along the river and adjacent farm fields was reported. One home experience some flooding. Otherwise, no major impacts were reported with this ice jam.
