Blizzard conditions were observed by the COOP weather observer. Snow amounts up to 9 were reported in the county. An elderly Johnson county farmer passed away after running his vehicle into a ditch and not being rescued in time.

Delayed report from emergency management of a 2 foot diameter tree down, stop sign blown over, outdoor awning thrown over fence, and various other smaller branches down within an approximately 1 block radius of the Tecumseh post office. Time estimated from radar.

Personal weather station measured heat index of 112 degrees.
