A woman was walking through Greenwood cemetery, and took shelter under a tree when a thunderstorm moved into the area. She was struck and killed by lightning.
Two men were drown on the Onapa Boat Ramp when the rising water of Lake Eufaula inundated their vehicle. The men were missing until June 7th when the lake receded enough for their vehicle to be found.
A man was struck by lightning while standing in a parking lot near Eufaula Cove on Lake Eufaula. The man was attending a festival at the time. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
