According to the U.S Drought Monitor, Severe Drought (D2) appeared across Delta County early in November, but improved late in the month following a couple rounds of beneficial rainfall.

A Heat Advisory was in effect for heat index values up to 110 degrees in the afternoon and early evening hours.
