Heavy, wet snowfall totals of 10 to 18+ inches were common. Some specific snowfall totals include; 18 inches in Island Pond, 15 inches in East Haven and 10 inches in Lunenburg.

Snowfall totals across Essex county were generally 10 to 15 inches but some southern, higher terrain received 18 inches. Some specifics included; 18 inches in Concord, 14 inches in Maidstone and 11 inches in Island Pond and Averhill.

Dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills impacted the area from early Friday morning through Saturday evening. The coldest was Friday night with low temperatures 15 to 25 below zero and wind chills 30 to 45 below zero.
