St. John storm history

Major roads in Downtown Cruz Bay, St. John, flooded with few ares impassable.

Minor flooding reported along the marketplace located near Highway 104.

Law enforcement reported North Shore Road Closed near the Ferry Dock Station due to flooding.

Tennis court and starfish area flooded. Phone lines down along Route 10 near Centerline Road.

Flooding, downed trees and power lines were reported in Saint John.

Heavy potted plants were overturned and large screens blew out at Coral Harbor. Several kayaks blew of the rack into the parking lot at a water sports business. At Weather Station Zephyr on Ajax Peak, St. John, wind gusted to 47 mph at 4 p.m.

Few landslides, impassable roads and local flooding were reported due to persistent heavy rainfall.

The bridge across the road near the Westin Resort and Villas on St. John was closed. Localized flooding was also reported near the Marketplace shopping center and in Cruz Bay. There were also rock slides on Bordeaux Mountain.

The National Park Service in St. John reported ground swells in excess of nine feet across the northern beaches with some beaches closed due to flooding.

A mariner reported a waterspout south of the island of St. John.
