Two cars were swept off Old Ballard Road at Ivy Creek. The occupant of one vehicle escaped and was rescued. The second vehicle was observed to repeatedly toss and overturn in the raging floodwaters. The two occupants of that vehicle could not be rescued and were found dead.

A male was fatally wounded from a falling tree.

A female driver was fatally wounded when a tree fell onto her as she exited her car after encountering a fallen tree in the roadway. Three other males were also injured by the falling tree.

A couple of trees blew down on Craigs Store Road near the intersection with Castle Rock Road.

Trees blew down along VA-20 Stony Point Road near VA-641 Burnley Station Road.

Trees blew down along VA-760 Red Hill School Road to the east of VA-710 Taylors Gap Road.

The Moormans River near Free Union river gauge reached minor flood stage with a peak crest of 15.02 feet. At 14 feet, water begins to flood the lower portions of a campground near the river.

The Mechums River near White Hall river gauge reached minor flood stage with a peak crest of 16.68 feet. At 11 feet, water reaches the yard of a home on Free Union Road. At 15 feet, water reaches the driveway of a home on Free Union Road.

A vehicle became stuck in flood waters located near Railroad Bridge and Plank Road near Thomas Dairy Lane. Dispatch reported the water was rising over the hood of a Honda Civic requiring the rescue of three occupants.

There were several calls for trees blown down between Crozet and Charlottesville.

There were reports of partial road washouts due to several inches of swift water flowing across VA-632 Faber Road near US-29 Monacan Trail Road.

The stream gauge on Mechums River at White Hall rose six feet in one hour, rising out its banks. The water level crested around 18.7 feet at 7:00 AM EST before finally falling below flood stage at 11:30 AM EST. At 18 feet, water reaches structures along Free Union Road.
