Lightning sparked a large fire at Twenty five mile creek on Lake Chelan. Over 6300 acres of forest land have burned. The fire was allowed to burn out and will not be officially out until mid October.

Chelan County dispatch office reported water flowing out of manhole covers and flooding streets, including at the corner of Maple and Northwestern Avenue. Report on Facebook stated water was up to bumpers of vehicles.

Chelan PUD reported 795 customers from a downed tree on a powerline.

Thunderstorm moved through the area around 0735 LST. The Entiat RAWS recorded a 62 MPH wind gust. No damage was reported.

Heavy rain from thunderstorms caused potions of trails to washout near the Irving Peak Burn Scar. Nearby RAWS reported a quarter of an inch of rain. Radar estimates near an inch of rain.

Thunderstorm heavy rains led to logs and debris flushing down the Mad River above Pine Flats campground.

Debris flow and flooding near Eagle Creek off the Twisp River. Several large logs and mud moved down the channel and impacted the forest service roads. Rain, for areas around the spot, several days prior ranged from 0.30-1 inch.

Heavy rain of 0.40 of an inch and snow melt caused a partial washout of roadway and debris flow into nearby state park.

Heavy rain caused flooding issues on many residential streets in the area including Riviera Drive, Monte Carlo Drive, Crystal Drive, Farnham Street, and Woodin Ave. Mud and debris were reported on roadways in these areas.

A hillside along State Route 2 began slowly sliding, striking the Department of Transportation guardrail, and partially blocked the eastbound lane. The mudslide was triggered by already saturated soil and wet snow.

A debris flow occurred along South Lakeshore Drive near Manson during the early morning hours of September 10th. The road was buried under 8 feet of mud, rock and debris. A nearby rain gauge recorded 1.17 inches of rain between 4:20 am and 6:20 am PDT.

Water was reported flooding across Squilchuck Road near Halverson Canyon Road due to heavy rain from a thunderstorm.

Heavy rain from a thunderstorm eroded a culvert and hillside above the Squilchuck Mobile Home Park resulting in three mobile homes being buried up to their roof lines with mud and rocks. Residents in 16 other nearby homes were advised to evacuate until the hillside stabilized.

A Flash Flood swept across Highway 97A 4 miles north of Entiat. Water and mud was reported by local news media to be up to 2 feet deep. Two trucks were reported stuck in the mud. The road was closed for about 24 hours while highway crews worked to clear the mud and debris.

Heavy rain on Slide Ridge above South Lakeshore Drive near Chelan washed mud and debris across the road to a depth of 10 to 12 feet in places. The road was closed for a week while highway crews cleared the road and stabilized the hill side.

Highway 150 between Chelan and Manson was closed due to a small mudslide caused by heavy rain. The road re-opened after a few hours when highway crews cleared the mud.

The Stehekin River Gage at Stehekin rose above the Flood Stage of 24.0 feet at 3:45 AM PST on November 23rd. The river crested at 25.8 feet at 8:30 AM and dropped back below Flood Stage at 8:00 PM.
