Sheboygan storm history

Dense fog was a contributing factor in a deadly two vehicle accident at the intersection of highway 23 & TT just south of the Sheboygan County Memorial Airport. An eastbound mini-van struck a northbound tractor trailer. The two women in the mini-van were killed.

Two to five inches of snow accumulation with highest amounts near Lake MI. Two people were killed and two injured in a single vehicle accident in the village of Kohler.

The garage door to an outbuilding buckled and another garage door to a different building was blown-in. A portion of the roof to one of the buildings peeled off and was blown to the southeast. Damage to multiple trees in the area, one uprooted.

Southwest wind sustained at 46 mph gusting to 63 mph at Sheboygan airport.

Widespread wind chills in the -30 to -35 degree range were observed from 1230 AM January 21 through the mid morning hours of January 21. Coldest wind chill of -35 was observed in Plymouth.
