Two to three inches of sleet/snow fell on top of a quarter to a half inch of ice in Poinsett County. One fatality and one injury occurred from a car accident as a result of the ice.
A one vehicle fatal accident occurred due to heavy rain. The accident occurred near Waldenburg on Highway 14. The vehicle hydroplaned and went off the road and struck a tree.

One hundred were damaged at a Ford dealership in Trumann. Over 2,000 cars in the area were damaged by the hail. Many homes were also damaged. The Trumann schools had at least 100 windows broken.
