Minor ice accumulations on the roadways resulted in two deaths occurring from traffic accidents.

Light freezing rain fell during the day on December 23rd, 2008. Minor ice accumulations occurred across Eastern Arkansas. This made roads hazardous to travel and many accidents occurred as a result. Two deaths occurred from traffic accidents.
