COOPs observers and Mesonet/ASOS sites reported rainfall amounts ranging from 0.3-1.0 in the far NE corner of Modoc county in and around Fort Bidwell, CA, as well as 1.0 -2.0 within the area from Cedarville, CA to Lake City, CA.

The river rose above minor flood stage (8.5 feet) at 10/1115 PST. The river crested at 8.64 feet several times between 10/1715 and 10/1915 PST. The river fell below minor flood stage at 11/0215 PST.

A spotter 1WSW Alturas reported standing water on US395. The north fork of the Pit River was running high and the south fork was at bankfull. Water was everywhere. The emergency manager of Modoc county also reported widespread flooding.
