A 59 mph wind gust was reported along I-76 by a CDOT weather station.

Winds gusted to 45 to 55 mph with a peak wind gust of 56 mph at a CDOT station near Julesburg.

Only two snowfall reports were received during this event. In Julesburg 5.0 inches of snow fell, and a report 3.4 miles north of Mark's Butte indicated 9.0 inches of snow fell. Webcams indicated Interstate 76 became snow covered after dark on the 6th.

Strong winds and heavy snow over parts of Sedgwick County. A trained spotters measured 9 inches of snow, 5 miles south of Sedgwick, with 6 to 8 inches of snow near Julesburg. Frequent wind gusts in the 50 to 60 mph range were also observed.

A storm spotter measured 5.5 inches of snowfall 4 miles north-northwest of Marks Butte. Sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph were measured at Chadron, Nebraska with peak gust to 35 mph.
