A southward moving cold front produced areas of heavy snow along the eastern mountains and plains of southeastern Colorado. The heaviest snow amounts were as follows: 5 inches at Rye in Pueblo county and at La Veta in Huerfano county, 6 inches at Manzanola in Otero county.

An upper level disturbance produced a brief period of heavy snow during the evening. Some snow totals included 6 inches around Rye and 5 inches at Beulah, both in Pueblo county. Many places on the adjacent eastern plains recorded 1 to 3 inches of snow.
