An upper level disturbance and strong surface low pressure combined to bring high winds across much of the area. Most winds were just above 50 mph...but in the lee of the Wet Mountains in Pueblo county winds gusted to 70 and 97 mph...at Rye and Beulah respectively...where some trees were downed and power outages occurred. Minor damage occurred 15 miles south of Pueblo at a subdivision.
