The Atigun Pass DOT mesonet station reported wind chill of -60 to -70 degrees F for a period of nearly 36 hours.

Strong winds over northern Alaska combined with an Arctic airmass led to very cold wind chill values over the Arctic Coast and the Brooks Range.
