A peak wind gust of 77 MPH was measured by the automated weather station at McCook Ridge.
Wider weather episode
A cold front progressed across eastern Utah and produced scattered to numerous showers. Gusty outflow winds accompanied these showers and there were localized gusts that exceeded 75 mph, which met high wind criteria in the Tavaputs Plateau.
