The last area of Extreme (D3) Drought was removed from Utah Zone 025 - Tavaputs Plateau on October 14th, 2025, and has not reoccurred for a month. Therefore, this will be the last drought entry for this zone until such time as drought reoccurs.

The Diamond Canyon Fire started in mid July due to a lightning strike 13.2 miles northwest of Cisco, Utah or 39 miles northeast of Moab, Utah. The fire grew to 323 acres before it was contained in late July. The estimated cost to date was $1 million.

Generally around 20 inches of snow fell across the area at East Willow Creek. A peak wind gust of 49 mph occurred at Upper Sand Wash RAWS.
