The FW4667 CWOP station near Port Townsend in Jefferson County reported sustained winds around 50 mph with several gusts to 63 mph late in the evening on April 4th (around 2300L).
Wider weather episode
An unusually strong storm system brought a prolonged period of strong winds to Western Washington in early April. This same storm system also led to high surf conditions near the Coast and heavy snow in the Cascades.
