Sixty to 70 mph wind gusts were common following the passage of a cold front. Wind gusts on the morning of the 29th were 70 mph at Yale, 68 mph at Idahome, 65 mph at Pilot Gold.

Several over 60 mph wind gusts occurred after the passage of a strong cold front in southeast Idaho.
