In addition to quarter size hail, funnel cloud was observed due west of spotters locations (5 miles SW of Stanford).

Disturbances moved through a persistent southwest flow aloft across the region, which continued to provide daily afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. These storms, some of which were severe, brought strong, gusty winds, severe hail, heavy localized rainfall, and lightning.
