Event narrative

NV Roads website reported adverse driving conditions due to a mudslide caused by heavy rain in the area. The slide occurred between mile markers 21 and 24 on NV-722, SW of the city of Austin, in Lander County. Both sides of the highway were affected. The roadway was not closed.

Wider weather episode

Multiple areas reported flooding over roadways, along with some material that traveled with it between the afternoon of the 10th and the morning of the 11th, due to heavy rains in multiple areas.
