Several inches of rainfall provided mostly minor flooding in Orange and Bridge City, however several streets were closed during the event.

Wider weather episode

An area of low pressure developed near Galveston and moved west along the Texas Coast. Heavy rain around the low trained over Jefferson and Orange Counties producing flooding.
