Event narrative

Large tree branches were blown down at the northern Lakeview campground. Boats and boat dock flipped on northern stump lake. One small metal storage shed was blown down.

Wider weather episode

Clusters of thunderstorms combined into a line of storms during the late evening in eastern North Dakota, then moved southeastward through the region over the next several hours. Significant damaging winds, and large hail were reported, as well as two tornadoes.
