Several large, 4 to 8 inch tree branches were broken down, and large spruce trees were snapped.

Wider weather episode

Clusters of thunderstorms combined into a line of storms during the late evening in eastern North Dakota, then moved southeastward through the region over the next several hours. Significant damaging winds, and large hail were reported, as well as two tornadoes.
