Seaside Lifeguards and Seaside Fire & Rescue rescued a total of 16 swimmers who got caught up in rip currents at Seaside and Cannon Beach over the weekend. A man in his 50s was found unconscious in the water near Seaside Saturday afternoon, but efforts to revive him were not successful.
