A thunderstorm formed near Malden and moved Northeast near Plaza. It produced hail the size of half an inch to 1.5 inch.
Wider weather episode
A low pressure system off the WA coast continued to push weak waves of instability across Eastern WA. The instability was able to produce mid morning thunderstorms with large hail.
