Santa Ana winds occurred across portions of the Riverside County Mountains on November 24th and 25th. Winds remained strong during much of the 24th with high wind gusts occurring throughout the morning, afternoon, and into the evening hours. The Toro Peak HPWREN mesonet site recorded a peak wind gust of 72 mph. The Devil Canyon Apple Canyon mesonet site also recorded a peak wind gust to 60 mph.
