The tide at Cypremort Point fell below -1 foot MLLW during the early morning of the 23rd and reached a low of -2 feet. The tide also fell below -1 foot MLLW during the next tide cycle and finally rose above during the afternoon on the 24th.

An Arctic air mass built into the region behind a cold front. Strong north winds pushed the tides below -1 foot MLLW for multiple tide cycles.
