Brevig Mission AWOS reported multiple hours of heavy snow and low visibility, as low as a quarter mile at times and wind gusts as high as 52 MPH.

Wider weather episode

A deep trough in the Bering Sea moved a series of shortwaves over the West Coast, pushing a cold front across the coast. This induced several inches of snow and gusty, bringing blizzard conditions along the coast.
