Event narrative

Snow began falling around 0430 PST with significant accumulations around 0800 PST, then tapering off around 0800 PST on the 14th. A total of 4 to 8 inches fell. Around 3 to 7 inches of snow was common along the Coast Range, with up to 10 inches at Saddle Mountain at 3110 feet elevation.

Wider weather episode

A fast moving cold front swept across the region, followed by rapidly lowering

snow levels affecting the Cascades as well as the Coast Range.
