Light to moderate snow fell across the Southwest Interior late in the day on Feb 25th through the morning hours on Feb 26th. In general, most reports of new snow ranged from 2 inches or less, however, a few reports of 5 inches were reported.

Wider weather episode

Much coler air infiltrated Western Washington at the end of February, after a relatively quiet three quarters of the month. The heaviest snow fell between the 25th and 26th, with reports of over 4 inches across many lowland zones.
