Event narrative

Blizzard conditions developed along the Bering Strait Coast the morning of the 25th and continued through at least the evening of the 25th. Winds were gusting to 71 mph at Teller when the AWOS stopped reporting data for the event. Elsewhere during the event, Tin City had gusts to 64 mph and Brevig Mission had gusts to 61 mph.

A front associated with a low moving north through the Bering Sea brought blizzard conditions to portions of western Alaska.
