Thunderstorms increased in coverage and intensity along the sea breeze fronts in the afternoon and early evening, with boundary mergers across interior counties of the Suwannee River Valley in the evening. Unstable mid levels with lapse rates around 6-7 degC/km but weak shear promoted gusty winds as the main hazards in strong to severe storms.
