The Gustavus AWOS recorded temperatures below 32 degrees for approximately 5 hours with a minimum of 28 degrees. The nearby COOP noted 27 degrees at their 5am observation. No impacts were shared.

Wider weather episode

A ridge of high pressure over the eastern Gulf of Alaska, cold temperatures aloft, and light winds during the overnight hours allowed temperatures to fall across the northern panhandle. A frost advisory was in effect and no impacts were shared.
