Several trees were blown down in the Three Rivers area west of Fort White. The time of damage was based on radar. The cost of damage was unknown but it was estimated for inclusion of the event in Storm Data.
Wider weather episode
A cut-off upper level low and upper level trough lingered over the SE states. Moist, SW steering flow around the eastern side of this upper level feature focused embedded short wave troughs rotating through the base of the upper level trough across the local forecast area, which enhanced waves of storminess that moved inland from the Gulf of Mexico and traversed the local area through the afternoon and evening. A flood watch was in effect for portions of north-central Florida given recent heavy rainfall.
