Strong thunderstorm winds knocked down multiple trees.
Wider weather episode
Strong shear supported multiple rotating thunderstorms across Northeastern Pennsylvania during the afternoon and evening hours. A NWS survey confirmed just one tornado that started in Susquehanna County near the state border and moved into New York. Other thunderstorms were severe with strong wind gusts. Most damage reports were for trees down. Fortunately, no one was injured or killed during these storms.
