A wildfire burning cottonwood stands and downed timber along the Big Wood River in Eccles Flying Hat Ranch detected around 2 pm MDT on July 5th. Air support was called in at the estimated cost of 25,000 dollars. 15 to 20 acres burned and was contained by July 7th.
