Thunderstorm winds blew down several large trees along Illinois Route 16 just west of Fieldon.

A severe MCS moved through the forecast area during the afternoon hours producing widespread 60-70mph winds and associated damage. The complex moved to the southeast taking advantage of 3500-4500 J/kg of surface-based CAPE.
