LANDSPOUT. Location: 31.030N, 103.580W. A photo of an apparent landspout tornado near Saragosa was shared on social media. Location and time were estimated by radar. There was no reported damage with this landspout.

Broad lee troughing and a closed upper-low over the Texas Gulf coast aided in the development of scattered thunderstorms near and adjacent to the west Texas high terrain. A few severe reports resulted from this activity.
