Thunderstorm winds blew down several trees. A couple of trees fell onto power lines pulling them down.

The wider storm

A severe mesoscale convective system (MCS) moved through the forecast area during the afternoon hours producing widespread 60-70mph winds and associated damage. The complex moved to the southeast taking advantage of 3500-4500 J/kg of surface-based CAPE.

Began near Jefferson City (38.5800, -92.1800).
