Observer recorded 3.9 inches of snow 10 miles East of Colville at 0909 PST. Other reports in the area were 3 inches near Mount Spokane and 3.8 inches near Tiger.
Wider weather episode
A low passed through the Pacific Northwest and brought the first round of widespread snow to Eastern Washington. Highest snow amounts were recorded along Highway 2 and North with reports ranging from one to five inches. Highway 20 and areas of the Methow Valley received six to 9 inches.
