Data from NWS Cooperative Observers and CoCoRaHS indicates that 3 to 6 inches of snow fell in and around the city of Rawlins.
Wider weather episode
A large, slow moving area of low pressure resulted in a prolonged period of snow across much of southeast Wyoming. The mountains of southeast Wyoming saw the most notable accumulations, with 2 to 4 feet of snow being reported in the Snowy Range. Several inches of snow also fell over the lower elevations, but overall impacts were minimal due to the long duration of the event.
