Bitter cold wind chills between 25 to 30 below zero were reported in the Iron River area.

Bitter cold Arctic air funneling into the area on the backside of a low stationed over southern Hudson Bay resulted in dangerously cold wind chills across porttions of Upper Michigan from late evening on the 15th into the morning of the 16th.
